'Portland Road' is the debut album of James Parker; it is written by James and is produced by Andy Greening.

James Parker is a singer/songwriter from the United Kingdom he has been working on material for the past 3 years, gaining ample studio and recording experience. 'Portland Road' is currently available to purchase digitally on itunes, Napster or as hard copy on Ebay.

As an artist James Parker's music is a diverse mix of rock pop soul acoustic. He is influenced by artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer and The Dave Matthews Band. James' popularity is constantly growing and he gained a large following as he performed around the south of England. He has supported Bob Dylan, Derrin Nauendorf, The Ian Parker Band and is always actively looking to increase his fan base.

Internet and performance sales for Portland Road have been overwhelming and have exceeded expectations. The ticket sales for his performances have been tremendous and have resulted in sell out gigs each time.

James has been featured in various UK based magazines, and has gained significant airplay on radio stations all around the world including Great Britain, America, France and Spain, to name but a few.

James Parker will be gigging again around the country from the end of August with an exciting new sound and brand new tracks, which are currently being worked upon. 'Rise And Fall' will feature on the new album along with 'Need You Now' and 'It's Time To Wake Up'.

James Parker will be returning to the studio to record his next album 'Eighteen Months' which should be available to purchase digitally from early 2008.
